General Information
In order for an accurate depiction of your character, a full description will be needed. A full description is more than just "a female elf with blonde hair and green eyes" but instead detailed information on the race, looks, dress, weapons, class, good or evil alignment, and even the background of your character. The more the better, because a true portrait shows more than just the surface appearance. For example, if your character is a human barbarian whose family was killed by goblins and now has a vendetta against them would be depicted far differently than a barbarian who is simply on the lookout for adventure and riches. You want your character to be as fleshed-out as possible when you play him/her/it, so try to be as descriptive as you can so their portrait will look as accurate as possible. Of course, no guarantees are made, for your imagination is different than mine and artistic license will come in to play. However, I will stay true to your character and not deviate from the description you give me.

Pricing and Delivery
Payment is acceptable in the form of Paypal, Personal Check, or Money Order. Mailing information will be provided by e-mail once a commission contract is finalized. All artwork is tranferred digitally in JPEG format at 200 dpi so there are no shipping and handling fees. This is done to keep costs down for both you and me as well as to ensure the artwork arrives to you in good condition. Delivery can take from two weeks up to several months depending on the current list of commissions I am working on.
Please remember that from start to finish, a fully colored commision can take up to 20 hours of work and therefore the prices reflect the time that is put into a piece.

Pencil sketch - $15

Outlined in ink - $20

Digitally colored - $50

Note: If you wish to have more than one character depicted, such as in combat etc., the price may change to reflect the increase in the amount of work that would entail.

Indigokat.com Guarantee
Once a price is stated by me, it will not alter, even if the amount of time spent on a piece is more than I expected. Once transferred to you, you retain all rights to the art and may do with it as you please (Though I humbly ask that you refer to me if the art is posted on the internet or that you recommend me to your friends). All copyrights to the character's original RPG are still held by their respective companies and are no way inferred upon you. Also, images copyrighted by those companies may not be portrayed illicitly in the artwork. Payment will not be asked for until work on your piece is about to begin in order to avoid you paying money for something you may not receive for over a month. Work on your piece will not begin until payment has been received. Once payment has been received, you will be notified and you will have your artwork transferred to you via e-mail within two weeks of the notification. If your artwork is not received within two weeks of that notification, your payment will be refunded to you. This does not apply if non-receipt is due to e-mail complications (incorrect address, server issues, etc.) or your not being present at the time of receipt (out of town, just haven't checked e-mail, etc.).

How to Get Started
Simply click on the "Contact" button on the menu at the top of the page and e-mail me with a brief summary of what you would like commissioned as well as what form of payment you will be providing. You will receive a reply within 48 hours with a price and an estimate on the delivery date as well as more detailed information on payment. Remember, you won't be asked for payment until work on your piece is about to begin (at which time I will ask for that more detailed description of your character), so if you only have a vague wish for a portrait and will change your mind later, don't contact me. This is the reason for payment up front before your piece is started so that I don't spend hours on something that will never be paid for.
